Completely unrelated but this cracked me up today:
My buddy was driving his boss home from work (dorm maintainence) last night when the guy leans over and says "Hey George, you mind dropping me off at Longs? I got a date tonight and I think I need to pick up a toothbrush"
The man is 57.

When I fist began my travels in Central America I was getting fucked over on the prices in those markets. The gringo factor multiplied tenfold into the cost of everything. The result: the prices were like vons. As my ability to prohibit egregious pricing improved the prices were more reasonable -- everything you can grab for about $1. I miss those markets! Great photos.
