Beautiful Boquete, Panama
apparently its normal to put a cactus this size in one´s front yard....anything goes in Panama
one of three rivers flowing through Boquete
strangely reminds me of Tahoe?

that cactus in the top picture seems to be the same species (or perhaps a very similar, humongous version) of the cactus that lurks in the corner of grandma's kitchen. You know, the one with all the eggs on sticks at easter time that always gets caught in your sleeves as you head into the yard. . . By the way, nice blog. Surprised you can update it so often amidst all the fun/intermittent internet(often one and the same). Cheers, Dan
¡HOLA!
Bienvenidos a my new blog...(sorry, that´s about the extent of my español right now)! My dear friend from UCLA Jen and I are backpacking around Central America for the next couple months and I KNOW you all want to hear about it....
